[Double Great News] Competing in physical fitness and skills - Nantong Double Great Company held the 14th Employee Sports Skills Games

In order to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of employees, promote the spirit of hard work, progress, health and harmony, enhance the cohesion and centripetal force of the majority of employees, and promote the high-quality development of the enterprise, on May 6, Nantong Double Great Textile Co., Ltd. held the 14th Employee Sports Skills Games. Zhang Guangyun, full-time vice chairman of the Qutang Town Federation of Trade Unions, and Yang Yang, chairman of Double Great Company, participated in the event. More than 160 front-line employees from various workshops of the company participated in the competitions in various events.

Wang Ruigen, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the trade union of Double Great Company, presided over the opening ceremony.

This sports meeting combines competition and entertainment, and organically integrates sports and business operations. It has group events such as eagle eyes (sorting basket tubes) and agility (inserting coarse yarn tubes), and standard three events and two individual events such as standing long jump, sit-up, football, rope skipping, and basketball. It tests both physical fitness and skills; it tests personal ability, but more importantly, collective consciousness and teamwork.

At the team skills competition, no matter it was sorting basket tubes or inserting roving tubes, each group worked together and competed with wits and courage. Everyone was agile and used flexible techniques and amazing speed to compete with each other and show their abilities, fully demonstrating everyone's unity and positive spirit.

At the standard three-event and individual binoculars competitions, the employees were full of passion and displayed their talents with a positive, optimistic, hard-working, enterprising and high-spirited spirit.

After fierce competition, a total of 12 awards were presented in this sports meeting. Team 1 of Class A of the Thread Making Workshop and Team 2 of Class C of the Spinning Workshop 1 won the prizes in the agility (inserting roving bobbins) and eagle-eyed (sorting basket tubes) competitions respectively, Gu Chunrong and Du Xiaomin won the prizes in the standard three events men's group and women's group respectively, and Liu Hongmei won the prize in two individual competitions.

Leaders including Yang Yang, Zhang Guangyun, Lv Junfeng, and Wang Hairong presented awards to the winning contestants.
