Nantong Double Great scientific and technological achievements of "Key technologies and industrialization of high-quality yarn of recycled polyester fiber with high efficiency and low consumption" passed the appraisal

 On the morning of May 26, 2021, the Science and Technology Development Department of the China National Textile and Apparel Council held a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting in Hai'an City, Jiangsu Province on "Key technologies and industrialization of high-quality yarns of recycled polyester fibers with high efficiency and low consumption" jointly undertaken by Nantong Double Great Textile Co., Ltd. and Donghua University. The expert appraisal committee fully affirmed the scientific and technological achievements, believing that the project had completed the requirements specified in the task book and that the project technology had reached an international advanced level, and unanimously agreed to pass the appraisal.

      The appraisal meeting invited experts including Zhu Beina, professor-level senior engineer of China Cotton Textile Association, Professor Gao Weidong of Jiangnan University, Peng Yanli, professor-level senior engineer of Textile Industry Science and Technology Development Center, Du Weiping, professor-level senior engineer of China National Textile and Apparel Corporation, Zhang Deliang, professor-level senior engineer of Shanghai Institute of Textile Science Co., Ltd., Ma Xiaohui, professor-level senior engineer of Jiangsu Dasheng Group Co., Ltd., and Professor Ji Tao of Nantong University to form the appraisal committee. Zhu Beina served as the director of the appraisal committee and Gao Weidong as the deputy director of the appraisal committee. The project meeting was chaired by Wang Guojian, deputy director of the Science and Technology Development Department of China Textile and Apparel Federation, and the appraisal meeting was chaired by Zhu Beina, professor-level senior engineer of China Cotton Textile Association.

      Ji Yijun, Party Secretary and Chairman of Nantong Double Great Textile Co., Ltd., thanked all the experts and leaders for taking the time out of their busy schedules to attend the scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting on "Key technologies and industrialization of high-efficiency and low-consumption spinning of high-quality yarn of recycled polyester fiber". Nantong Double Great has focused on one yarn for 43 years, taking the development path of "specialization, differentiation, quality and branding", and maintaining annual profitability. In terms of scientific and technological innovation, we will continue to develop and comprehensively improve the research and development and application of green and environmentally friendly recycled fibers in yarn products, forming a large-scale production and application of high-quality yarn of recycled fibers with diversified products, high-end brands and obvious advantages. I hope that all experts and leaders will give more valuable opinions on this project and make more suggestions for the development of Nantong Double Great.

      Accompanied by Yang Guangze, General Manager of Nantong Double Great, and Ji Yijun, Chairman of the Board, the experts visited the production site and the research institute of Nantong Double Great's recycled polyester fiber high-quality yarn. While inspecting, the experts learned in detail about the product quality level and high-efficiency and low-consumption key technologies of each process of recycled polyester yarn. They listened to the project work report, technical research report, new search report, inspection report, user application report and other reports, and reviewed the relevant materials. After questioning and discussion, the appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the products of the project have been tested by a third party, and the product quality has met the relevant standard requirements, and can meet the requirements of high-end brand customers for high-quality yarns. It was agreed that the "Key Technology and Industrialization of High-Efficiency and Low-Consumption Spinning of High-Quality Recycled Polyester Fiber Yarn" project has passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal.
